Servants of God - Hall of Candidates

Here in the Hall of Candidates, you will find many men and women of the United States for whom a cause is open exploring their possible canonization by the Catholic Church. While the mission of American Saints and Causes is to make it less surprising to see so many sainthood candidates, we do hope that the sheer volume of names uplifts your spirit. For each of the men and women listed below, a bishop of a diocese of the Catholic Church has seen enough evidence of sanctity to deem it worthy to investigate the candidate’s life and propose to the Church that they be considered for sainthood. Some of their stories of love for Christ may move you more than those of the Saints formally recognized by the Catholic Church. And as their journey to being a declared Saint has only begun, you can be a great aid to their cause, by praying for their intercession and that God draws others to Himself through the canonization of these Servants of God.
